Erste Erkundungen machte das zwei Tage alte Elefantenbaby im Zoo Zürich. Am Mittwoch hat die 34-jährige Elefantenkuh Indi das Bullenkalb zur Welt gebracht. Der Elefant kam nach einer Tragzeit von 627 Tagen mit einem Geburtsgewicht von 150 Kilogramm zur Welt. Vater des Jungtieres ist der gut 15-jährige Bulle Thai. Reuters
