Erneut ein Toter und Verletzte nach Schüssen in den USA
Houston In einer Möbelfirma im US-Staat Texas hat ein Mann um sich geschossen und einen Menschen getötet. Fünf weitere Menschen wurden teilweise schwer verletzt. Der mutmaßliche Schütze flüchtete nach den Schüssen vom Tatort in Bryan, konnte aber später festgenommen werden. Es soll sich nach ersten Erkenntnissen der Polizei um einen Mitarbeiter des Betriebs handeln. Der Polizeichef von Bryan, Eric Buske, erklärte, der 27 Jahre alte Verdächtige habe die Tat in den Geschäftsräumen von Kent Moore Cabinets wohl allein begangen. Er wurde des Mordes beschuldigt; die Kaution wurde auf eine Million Dollar festgelegt. Das Motiv für die Tat ist noch unklar. Die Bezirkshauptstadt Bryan liegt etwa 160 Kilometer nordwestlich von Houston und hat gut 86.000 Einwohner.
Erst am Dienstag hatte ein Mann in South Carolina fünf Menschen erschossen. Am 31. März kamen bei Schüssen in einem Bürogebäude in Südkalifornien vier Menschen ums Leben.
